Day 8 Whole30 and first day I submitted a “check-in” to my competition coach. It is a Whole30 rule to not weigh yourself the entire time, and I haven’t in my previous Whole30’s but I’m shocked what 8 days have done to the number on the scale.
12/31/18 I weighed 150.1lbs
1/8/19 I weigh 145.6lbs
My measurements are as follows:
- Chest – 36″
- Waist – 28.5″
- Butt – 38.5″
- Thigh – 22.5″
- Bicep – 11″
I’m a little embarrassed about my first photos, but I know those shorts are tight on me and I’m much more confident in high waisted leggings. But back to yesterday’s mantra: we all start somewhere. So, here it goes:



I guess that wasn’t so bad after all. I’m not ashamed of my body, I have come a long way since graduating college. Today I weigh 145.6, when I graduated college, I was an astonishing 173lbs. That was the heaviest I have ever weighed. Over the last two years I’ve really honed in on my fitness and nutrition. I’m very excited to see what the future holds.
Day 8 of Whole30 isn’t so bad for me. I’m proud of where I came from, and I I know I will be my best self when I step up on stage.
