About Annie

I am a fitness junkie that loves the endorphin high I feel after a pulsing cycle class, lifting heavy weights, or finishing up a run.

Throughout my life, I’ve always been an athlete. I started out as a competitive figure skater, competing until I was about 16 in USFSA. I also played competitive club volleyball, flag-football, snowboard, golf, anything active I am willing to try at least once.

I am a Certified Personal Trainer and have been training since 2018. Below is a list of my certs and awards:

Certified Personal Trainer – ISSA

Bikini Novice Tall Champion – Mr & Mrs Natural MN Bodybuilding Competition – May 2019

Bikini Novice Tall Runner Up – Natural Iowa Bodybuilding Competition – May 2019

Specialist in Fitness Nutrition – ISSA

Precision Nutrition Level 1

STAGES Power Cycling Instructor

AFAA Indoor Cycling Instructor

I have had some things in my life that have really changed me. In 2019, I lost my mother to Young Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease. I also lost my brother in 2014 from a long struggle with Depression. These traumatic experiences have shaped the way I view health and fitness. I don’t exercise for the sole reason of getting the endorphin high, or the physical changes I see. I exercise and eat well to prevent diseases that run in my family, and to live in the moment and enjoy life as much as possible.

If I’m not at the gym, typically you can find me at home playing with my puppy, Benji, researching new healthy dishes, snowboarding, playing volleyball, or at the beach!
